Praca Na Kołach (Job On The Wheel) is a job board for the polish transport market. The entire structure of the job board is dedicated to promote job offers and recruit drivers. We had to conduct rigorous tests before the product goes live. Our role was to run end-to-end tests on the front-end as well as back-end tests including the employer's panel for managing offers and candidates

App Testing On Real Mobile Devices

One of the challenges to face was mobile app testing. A major percentage of truck drivers use the job portal on mobile phones, so the mobile version had to be perfect. Thanks to our testing lab we conduct software testing on many different devices including models with iOS and Android operating systems.

Startup Phase And Product Suggestions

Due to the fact that the job board represents a typical startup in terms of age and complexity, we gave client suggestions about product features that should be implemented for better user experience and because some components would be better developed. In Jira, on the backlog page, we created a long list of product recommendations including user stories along with bugs.

Payments As An Essential Part Of Testing Process

The product is integrated with Stripe gateway so our priority was to deeply check how the payments system works in accordance with requirements. The important part here was to test if: payments are not duplicated, are charged with the right amount, are properly registered in client systems, customer data are GDPR protected, etc.
